The public transportation here in Portland is great, from our vintage streetcars to the efficient light rail (a.k.a MAX) you will find it easy to hop from one place to the next. Please see below for links to help plan your trip and information on how to get from the airport to your hotel and the wedding.
:: from the airport
Aside from renting a car or hailing down a taxi, the next best option from the airport is hoping on the MAX which will pick you up from the baggage claim area. You will need to take the red line connecting you to the City Center and to Sunset transit center. The estimated time it takes from the airport to the heart of downtown Portland is 50 minutes.
:: from the airport to the nines hotel
The red line MAX will take you directly to this hotel. The stop you need is SW 5th avenue. The hotel is located on 5th and Morrison right in the thick of downtown and you should be able to see it from the MAX stop.
:: from the airport to the double tree hotel
The red line MAX will also take you close to this hotel. The stop you need is for Lloyd Center NE 11th avenue and from there it is a 3 minute walk to the hotel. The estimated time it takes from the airport is 37 minutes.
:: from the airport to the banfield value inn
Take the red line MAX to Hollywood NE 42nd avenue. The inn is an 8 minute walk from the MAX stop. The total transit time is 37 minutes.
:: transportation to the wedding
If you are staying in a hotel near a MAX line, perfect! All you need to do is catch the red line MAX (once again) and take it to the Sunset transit center. We have arranged an eco shuttle to pick you up from the transit center to the wedding and reception site. The shuttle will also be available for transportation from the reception to the Sunset transit center.

If you have secured your own means of transportation to the wedding the address of the venue is 4200 NW North road, Portland, Oregon 97229. There will be some parking available at the site otherwise you may park at the Sunset transit center and catch the shuttle from there.
